TERMS AND CONDITIONS


The following Terms and Conditions at Old House at Home, Newnham Green, are in effect as of 15th December 2021 to protect the business from no-shows and last-minute cancellations/changes. By booking at our premises, you hereby agree to our terms and conditions.


ALL TABLE BOOKINGS 


To confirm a booking either inside the pub or for ‘covered’ tables outside in the pub gardens and external areas between 5.30pm on Friday and 4pm Sunday, a £10 deposit per person is required regardless of size of party. We will also request deposits for groups of five or more guests for any other day during the week.

Deposits must be paid at the time of booking and no booking is confirmed unless a deposit is paid. The balance of the meal must be settled on the date of your reservation along with any drinks and extras.


GUEST NUMBERS

Should, for any reason, you need to reduce your party size, please contact us as quickly as possible, to discuss the changes. 

Please note, a reduction in your party size will result in a loss in part of your deposit if less than five days notice is given.

In short:

5 days or more notice – full refund.

4 to 3 days notice - 50% refunded. 

2 days or less - no refund, we reserve the right to keep the deposit.


CANCELLATION/CHANGES

We will be pleased to process a full deposit refund should you provide at least 5 days notice in advance of your reservation if you wish to cancel/change your booking. Should you need to cancel/change a confirmed booking after the 5 day period, please call us as soon as possible to discuss. Please note, at this stage, you are no longer entitled to a full refund. Additionally, should you cancel/change a confirmed booking on the day; we reserve the right to keep the deposit.

In short:

5 days or more notice – full refund.

4 to 3 days notice - 50% refunded. 

2 days or less – no refund, we reserve the right to keep the deposit.


Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Table allocation times

All our tables are allocated a 2-hour slot. If you are wanting to change your allocated time, please contact as soon as possible to see if we can make the changes. If we have already allocated the time to other customers, we may not be able to accommodate your change and you may have to have less time at your table or change the booking date, (please see our ‘Cancellation/Changes T&C’s for details)

Dogs

If you are booking a table and bringing a dog, please make us aware so we can assign a table for you in our dog friendly area in the bar, if available. Should you arrive with your dog, and we do not have a table in the dog friendly area, you are welcome to dine outside, (weather permitting), or the dog is to be kept in the car.

Children

Whilst we are primarily an adult's environment, children are welcome. It is the adult’s responsibility to look after them and ensure they remain seated to avoid accidents or interrupt other diners. We can offer 'petit' portions on limited food.

The Outside dining/drinking areas

We have outside dining, weather permitting. We don't reserve any of our outside tables, these are on a first come first served basis.

We request you all please keep tops on and shoes on at all times. ‘No Shoes, No Shirts, No Service’

Weddings/Functions

We can accommodate small functions & wedding parties, up to 20 in the dining room or exclusive use of the pub, for up to 46 guests. Exclusive use of the pub fee £400.
